At HomeCare Therapeutics, we recognize that the needs and goals of our clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities are diverse and unique. Therefore, we aim to provide highly trained, experienced and empathetic Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) for our clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities to facilitate their independence in meaningful activities of daily living.

We work in a private home, group home or community setting with the goal of maximizing the client's functional potential by providing the right amount of assistance. Through the dedication and expertise of our DSPs, we aim to empower our clients to lead fulfilling lives and actively participate in their communities.

We ensure that our DSPs meet all qualifying criteria that are listed under state guidelines and have complete set of skills to match with client’s needs in areas like:

  • Self-Care: Our DSPs provide assistance with activities such as bathing, personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and other tasks related to maintaining personal well-being. They offer the necessary support to ensure clients can take care of themselves and enhance their independence.
  • Home making: Our DSPs assist with tasks such as cooking, laundry, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
  • Recreational Activities: Recreational activities plays significant role to enhance social skills, leisure skills, and overall well-being. Our DSPs are well trained to facilitate activities that are meaningful, joyful and provides opportunities for functional growth.
  • Community Outings and Transportation: Our DSPs assists clients with their transportation need, whether it's going to work, gym, parks, movie, doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, or engaging in social outings in order to facilitate community participation.
  • Socialization: Social interaction is very essential for personal growth and development. Our DSPs facilitates socialization opportunities for our clients, like engaging in conversations, participating in group activities, or fostering connections within their community.
  • Computer and Technology Usage: In today's digital age, computer and technology skills are increasingly important. Our DSPs assist clients in developing and enhancing their computer and technology proficiency, enabling them to access online resources, communicate, and engage in virtual activities.
